God Food: Getting Back to Nature

God Food: Getting Back to What Nature Intended

In a world full of flashy food marketing, labels you can’t pronounce, and diets with more rules than common sense, I like to bring it back to something simple: God food.

What’s God food? It’s food that was created by nature—unprocessed, whole, and nourishing. It doesn’t come in a box. It doesn’t need a nutrition label. It’s the kind of food your body recognizes instantly because it’s been part of the human experience since the beginning.

When I follow my version of Ketovore, that’s exactly how I approach eating: keep it simple, clean, and close to the source. That means pasture-raised meat, wild-caught fish, eggs, butter, salt, and sometimes things like avocado or herbs. Real food. One-word ingredients. God food.

Why It Matters

Our bodies were never designed to process fake oils, artificial sweeteners, chemical preservatives, or dyes. Those things confuse your cells, disrupt your gut, and create inflammation that shows up as brain fog, mood swings, fatigue, and disease.

God food, on the other hand, speaks your body’s language. It fuels your brain, supports your immune system, balances hormones, and helps you feel steady—not wired and crashing.

What Counts as God Food?

It’s not a strict list, but here’s the general idea:

  • Animal proteins: beef, lamb, chicken, fish, eggs
  • Natural fats: tallow, butter, olive oil (in moderation)
  • Minerals: sea salt, trace minerals from nature
  • Optional: a few low-toxin plants like avocado, herbs, cucumbers (based on tolerance)

If it had to be invented, chemically altered, or marketed to convince you it’s food—chances are, it’s not God food.

The Simplicity Is the Power

Eating this way brings a kind of peace. Less mental chatter about calories, fewer crashes, and more trust in how your body responds. It’s not about perfection. It’s about returning to what your body was designed to thrive on.

So if you’re overwhelmed by conflicting health advice, consider starting here: eat what God gave us. One-ingredient foods. Uncomplicated, clean, and real.

That’s the foundation. That’s where the healing starts.
